Mario Badescu

This brand is one of those holy grail brands which create some amazing skin care products. With super sensitive skin I find it hard to use most of the "holy grail" items you see most youtubers/bloggers using to help calm their acne and breakouts.

So dipping my toes into the Mario Badescu brand I picked up a Facial spray which smells divine! I've used it as a make up setting spray as well as a general moisturising spray during the day.
It's only $9 from Mecca Cosmetica which I think is such a steal for the quality of product. Highly recommend :)

Next onto the drying lotion.
Holy.
Jeebus.
You hear about products that help but never actually fix a break out before it happens. This stuff does.
At $22 it seems a lot for a small bottle of product but it is so worth it.
The only problem I have with it is falling asleep with this on your face you wake up and have forgotten it's there...so you have this light pink/white cream everywhere if you have lots of spots like I do.

Highly recommend both products as must haves in your skin care routine.

Origins Masks

Yet another Origins post...but omfg their products make me swoon!
I've recently discovered that the whole GlamGlow range and my super sensitive skin just do not mix....at all...it's very painful. So in the quest to find my favourite face masks beside my Lush ones I purchased two face masks from Origins and an under eye cream.

The Active Charcoal Mask is so awesome and interesting. I really felt like when I've used this that my pores are really super clean and relatively smaller.
I've started to use this one in particular 1-2 times a week and then using the GinZing one once a week after long shifts around the heat.

The GinZing texture is something new to me...it isn't like the Charcoal mask or lush fresh faced masks where you need to wash it off - the instructions say to just gently tissue it off. It's strange to me but it's alright. Would I repurchase the GinZing? No probably no - i definitely prefer many other ones.

The Charcoal mask I will definitely repurchase once I've finished this tube.

I'm not ready to comment on how well the eye cream works just yet, as I want to make sure I can give a good opinion on the product. But so far so good.

All three products were purchased from Mecca Cosmetica - also available as most Kit counters in Myer as well as Mecca Maxima.

ColourPop

As you can tell from the title today we're going to talk about ColourPop.
This is an American based brand I've been hearing about for absolutely ages from both Shannon before I was even super into makeup and the odd youtube video. So I decided to invest in some shadows and a highlight.

First of all the packaging. Anastasia needs to learn from this, how gorgeous and fun is this packaging?
Anyway on to the important stuff.

This is the Mondays In Malibu - 2015 Summer Super Shock Shadow Set

The colours are soooo gorgeous and very, very, very pigmented!
The formula isn't like something I've felt before...it's not super powdery/compact like when you go to swatch a normal eye shadow..this is almost buttery and if you push too hard you can see it move around.
I cannot wait to use these on my eyes and just have such intense colour pay off!
My favourites from this summer set have to be Hot Tamale, Prickly Pear and Snakebite.

Now this little beauty was a gift as part of ColourPop's 1st Birthday which happened recently. This super shock shadow is named Birthday Girl and is in special limited edition packaging. It's got such a gorgeous colour pay off and has a mix of sparkle from green to pink flecks. Really hard to capture on camera but hopefully you can see a bit from the photos.

Now this gorgeous highlight is Stole the Show.
Currently I don't actually own any just single pots/pans of just a highlight. It's always in a duo like the new Nars dual intensity blushes or in a bronze/blush/highlight trio palette.

The formula is again super buttery and soft and delicate and has such great pigmentation.

All of these are available from the ColourPop website however, Birthday Girl was limited edition and a gift with my purchase so I'm not sure if it's still available as a freebie!
